Guildhouse School is situated in Bloomsbury Square, London educating international students for over 10 years. Inspiring entrepreneurial spirit, Guildhouse School is the only Bloomberg Lab in a high school in Europe. The brief for the project comprised solving 2 problems - creating a practical Bloomberg Lab that can also operate as a small lecture theatre for guest speakers. The look&feel was designed to be intentionally minimal but practical - highlighting existing Grade 2 listed features such as cornice and windows and ensuring the acoustics, layout and technology do not overwhelm the space but exist to perform the key functions.
